Breathing

Breathing

Lifehouse

I’m finding my way back to sanity, again
Though I don’t really know what
I am gonna do when I get there
Take a breath and hold on tight
Spin around one more time
And gracefully fall back in the arms of grace
I am hanging on every word you say
And even if you don’t want to speak tonight
That’s alright, alright with me
‘Cause I want nothing more than to sit
Outside Heaven’s door and listen to you breathing
Is where I want to be
I am looking past the shadows
Of my mind into the truth and
I’m trying to identify
The voices in my head
God, which one’s you?
Let me feel one more time
What it feels like to feel
And break these calluses off me
One more time
‘Cause I am hanging on every word you say
And even if you don’t want to speak tonight
That’s alright, alright with me
‘Cause I want nothing more than to sit
Outside your door and listen to you breathing
Is where I want to be
I don’t want a thing from you
Bet you’re tired of me waiting
For the scraps to fall
Off your table to the ground
I just want to be here now

This is my favorite Lifehouse song so far. Jason Wade has the best voice (male) for me, even if I don’t really understand what he’s saying sometimes, because he has a tendency to literally eat his own words. He’s still great though, not only because of the depth of the lyrics and his voice, but also because of his and his bandmates’ image. They’re Christian, and even if they’ve managed to hit mainstream music, they’re still able to stick to their faith, which I think is great.

You´ve got very nice blog! :-)

yeaaah! it`s liked me. who is Jason Wade?

The words of the song got me except when it said:
“Bet you’re tired of me waiting” God’s never tired of us, Infact its quite the contrary He loves it when we desire to be close to Him and make effort to be in His presence.
Nice one though.
Much Blessings

Though not much for Christianity myself, being an agnostic, I still think it’s a nice song. I might go out and buy a CD next time I got some spending money.

Someones agnostic, I`m just gnostic….he he he…
