They say that when God closes a door, He opens a window. Sometimes, though, we can’t seem to see that for ourselves. We keep on banging on the door (and God), trying to force our own way without realizing that there might be another way for us to be accomplish it, something that would hurt a lot less. It’s hard to process that sometimes, because we have the tendency to have a one-track mind. I guess we just need to learn to open our minds (and our hearts) for the opportunity that the Lord may provide for us to be able to live the good life - not in the hedonist sense, but more of the eternal kind.
