I like the simplicity of the shot, but more so because of the powerful emotions these evoke. As the label states, these are from Hurricane Katrina. I don’t think I don’t need to expound on that tragedy, because Just about everyone everywhere know what happened then. Merging that thought with the image of this spoon and fork makes it a rich image. This image is what I was aiming for when I shot this picture of the can on the beach.
